Eligibility
You have to be over 18years of age or over to participate.
You have to be a bonafide student of Machakos University.
You must have registered for the hackathon on Devpost.
Your submission must have met all the submission criteria.
Project and Submission Requirements
- The submissions should come in no later than 11:00 am EAT on Friday. The site will not accept any more submissions past 11 am.
- All submissions should be sent via Devpost.
- All team submissions should be complete, in that they should be made up of the 2 items (proposal and pitch) and the proposal should contain all of the outlined 7 segments.
Prizes
The 1st Prize winners in each category will receive Ksh. 10,000 and 1st Place certificates.
The 1st Runners up in each category will receive Ksh. 7,000 and 2nd Place certificates.
The 2nd Runners-up in each category will receive a Gift Hamper and 3rd Place certificates.
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
The submissions are going to be judged and points awarded based on their;
- Innovativeness
- Practicality
- Sustainability
- Environmental Impact
Each team will be judged out of 100 points.
The winning teams in each category will be selected based on the total amount of points that they will have garnered from the judging round.
